Victoria J. Valerón Bergh defended her PhD degree in pharmaceutics on the 27th of February 2017 at the University of Oslo.

The dissertation title was “Pharmaceutical preformulation and formulation of an alloxazine and a porphyrin-type photosensitizer”. Dr. Bergh’s work is part of an ongoing joint project between the School of Pharmacy at the University of Oslo and NIOM that aims at developing antibacterial drugs and treatment modalities based on photodynamic therapy.


Senior scientist at NIOM, Ellen Bruzell, was co-supervising Valerón Bergh in her doctorate studies.
