November 3rd to 5th sees thousands of dentists and dental health care professionals swarming into lovely Stavanger for the Norwegian Dental Association’s annual congress and the dental trade show NorDental.

If you are a dentist or dental health care professional visiting this event (NTFs Landsmøte 2016), make sure to mark lecture 8 on Thursday November 3rd from 15.00-16.00 in your calendar, as NIOM Senior scientist Ellen Bruzell and Head of Laboratory Hilde Beate Molvig Kopperud will present insights into light curing.

Light curing may seem like a small and simple part of dental treatment, but the quality of light curing lamps as well as light curing techniques are crucial for good results. Bruzell and Molvig Kopperud will also present findings and share best practices in terms of consequences of too little or too bright light on filling material, effects of light to the eyes as well as revealing the results of a survey conducted in Norway regarding dentists’ knowledge of light curing lamps and awareness of maintenance protection habits. We look forward to seeing you there!
