Kassapidou usually divides her time as enrolled doctorate at the department of Prosthodontics and Dental Materials Science at the University of Gothenburg, and as specialist in Prosthodontics at the Institute for Postgraduate Dental Education in Jönköping.
Her doctoral thesis is on cobalt-chromium alloys in fixed prosthodontics. For the next three months she will use her expertise in collaboration with NIOMs senior engineers Else Morisbak and Morten Syverud to study different cobalt-chromium alloys in fixed prostheses and compare them to among others, titanium alloys.
