Filling materials of the future

Properties of new materials and digital techniques.

The dental materials of the future must be able to combat the main reasons that current materials fail, which are secondary caries and fracture. In addition, the materials must be easy to use. Such materials need chemistry that takes into account the biological properties of enamel and dentin.

  • Reasons for failure of today’s materials
  • Patient’s and dentist’s favorable material
  • Do regulations prevent new materials?

Duration of the lecture: The lecture can be held as a 45 min presentation or as an extended version lasting up to 1,5 hours.

This course is accepted in the continuing education program for the Norwegian Dental Association (NDA/NTF).
