We are pleased to announce that Erik Farbrot has started as NIOM’s new CFO. Farbrot is a graduate from Handelshøyskolen BI and the Norwegian Armed Forces Military Academy (KS). He has an extensive background from both the private- and public sector, and will maintain and strengthen the good work accomplished at the Institute, says Per Vult von Steyern, CEO at NIOM.

For the last 18 years Farbrot has been CFO at a recruitment agency, dealing with both financial and managerial tasks related to core business, operations, development and strategy. As CFO he will focus on well- functioning workflows, customized management systems to support the Institutes highly skilled staff, management and board. He will have a central role in supporting the Institute’s tasks within research, standardization, material testing and information activity within the field of dental biomaterials.

Erik is looking forward to getting to know the Institute’s staff and collaborative partners, to contribute to the development of safe and appropriate biomaterials.
