NIOM will represent strongly this year at the 2017 CED-IADR/NOF Oral Health Research Congress, which takes place in Vienna September 21-23. Five NIOM scientists and engineers will contribute at an exhibition stand, hold oral and poster presentations as well as co-chair an oral session.

NIOM is represented with a booth at the exhibition of this year’s congress, promoting research networking (booth 5) where Head of Laboratory, Hilde Molvig Kopperud will greet and inform congress participants.

Managing Director Jon E. Dahl will present Optimizing Quality and Safety of Dental Materials” at the NOF symposium homage to 100 years of dental research in Scandinavia.

NIOM scientist Aida Mulic will give a poster presentation entitled: Are Erosive Lesions as Prevalent as Caries among Norwegian Adolescents?” In addition to her own presentation, Mulic is co-authoring five other studies that will be presented at the congress.

NIOM engineer Inger Sofie Dragland will present a poster entitled Chitosan Modifed Zinc Oxide-Eugenol Cement Increases Antimicrobial Activity.”

NIOM scientist Frode Staxrud, who divides his time between NIOM and the Faculty of Dentistry at the University Of Oslo, will co-chair the session “Clinical Trials of Restorations – Restoration Repair” as well as give an oral presentation on “Repair Bond Strength between Amalgam and Composite”.
